Intergalactic Space Trader (IST)

Greetings Galactic Citizens,  

This is the Wasp F51 Spaceship expansion for Intergalactic Space Trader. It includes one book for the sci-fi trading game and gives you a new ship to purchase in game.  

Intergalactic Space Trader is a solo player game where you take on the role of an Intergalactic Space Trader. You have a freighter which you will use to fly from planet to planet selling your trade goods in the hope of making a profit. You can upgrade your ship, buy bigger ships, make investments and trade goods. Along the way you might do some mining, find a derelict ship, fend off space pirates or head into the entertainment sector. Who knows whom you might meet there.  

Format  

IST and all its expansions such as this spaceship expansion is designed to be portable, being in an A6 format. Each page is A6 but can be printed A5 also. Using a PDF reader you can set the files to print as booklets if you have A5 paper, and you can always tear in half A4 pages in half. The game was always designed to be carried in a pocket.

Inspirations  

This game is inspired by my love of Sci-fi and the Amiga game Frontier Elite. Of course, the original Elite has a part to play as the god father of space trading games but I sunk most of my time into Frontier at just about the right age. Han Solo probably has something to do with this game as well.

Update 1 to Version 1.1 - 07.10.23  

Patch notes:    

1) Book 2, page 6 – Corrected fuel consumption in example!!! It is now 55 not 60 and adjusted remaining fuel.

2) Book 2, page 8 – Change the sub header in the blip table to “Roll on this table to identify a blip”.

1) Changed WASP value to 15000c  

*2) Book 2: Added a whole new page 7 on Entering a Star system answering some questions and dealing with running out of fuel and being indebted.
